The location was absolutely idyllic, surrounded by peaceful forests and stunning views of the Wye Valley. The quality of accommodation exceeded our expectations, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, including a dog bowl and towel for our Labrador. The owners, Jamie and his family, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even providing a landline when it was difficult to communicate with the outside world. The breakfast options were fantastic, and we were even treated to a delicious full English breakfast one morning. Additionally, when I fell ill during our stay, the hosts were incredibly kind, providing ready meals, fruit, soup. Although the mobile network coverage was poor, the provided WiFi allowed us to stay connected. The peacefulness of the location was truly healing, and we cannot wait to return and take advantage of the lovely walks nearby. we highly recommend Wye Valley Retreat for an unforgettable and peaceful getaway.
